Mission Statement

Cane River Children's Services provides trauma informed care and hope for children and families with mental health or behavioral health needs stemming from adverse childhood experiences in order to build healthier family systems.

Vision Statement

The vision of Cane River Children’s Services is a community of healthy children and families who overcome adversity by connecting to trauma informed support systems in order to facilitate a lifetime of healthy change and stop the cycle of abuse.

Statement of Values

Every child is valued. All people have the potential for positive growth and change. Children benefit from inclusion in healthy families, however sometimes professional intervention is required for mental health and behavioral health needs to fuel personal growth and improve outcomes. This growth can be challenging. A special focus is placed on child development, trauma informed care, trust based relationships, holistic care, and instilling hope for the future by making positive choices today.

Cane River Children's Services understands and values individual privacy. This policy describes our use of data generated by your visit to our web site. The personal information received from all clients, potential clients, and the public is considered private and not used outside of that context without signed permission. We value children and families, therefore want to provide a safe place of healing for those who need our support.

At times, we will analyze general statistics and group data regarding our web site’s usefulness; however, this information is never personal. We do not collect personal data about people who visit our website. We may analyze site data but do not know who visits our website. Unless you specifically contact us and tell us you want more information about the programs, services, volunteer opportunities, or donation needs of the agency, we will not contact you through email.
